Main Function
Ensure the security of the vessel, its cargo, crew, and visitors.
Qualifications
- Basic understanding of the International Ship and Port Facility Security Code (ISPS).
- Proven competence and full qualification for maritime security.
- Strong ability to recognize, understand, and deal with potential security threats.
- Excellent problem-solving and crisis management skills, with a tactful and diplomatic approach.
- Above-average physical fitness.
- Maritime experience is an advantage.
- English language skills (written and oral) are required.
Main Responsibilities
- Maintain the ship’s security, ensuring the implementation of the Ship Security Plan (SSP) and all security procedures.
- Responsible for gangway security and access control.
- Conduct inspections and regular patrols of restricted, controlled, and vulnerable areas.
- Operate and manage CCTV recording and monitoring equipment.
- Monitor surveillance cameras and compile statements and reports.
- Report all crimes, incidents, and safeguarding issues.
Pay: €3700 per month.
Experience:
- 1 year in military, police, army, airport security, or customs (required).
Language:
- English (required).
