Main Function

Ensure the security of the vessel, its cargo, crew, and visitors.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of the International Ship and Port Facility Security Code (ISPS).
• Proven competence and full qualification for maritime security.
• Strong ability to recognize, understand, and deal with potential security threats.
• Excellent problem-solving and crisis management skills, with a tactful and diplomatic approach.
• Above-average physical fitness.
• Maritime experience is an advantage.
• English language skills (written and oral) are required.

Main Responsibilities

• Maintain the ship’s security, ensuring the implementation of the Ship Security Plan (SSP) and all security procedures.
• Responsible for gangway security and access control.
• Conduct inspections and regular patrols of restricted, controlled, and vulnerable areas.
• Operate and manage CCTV recording and monitoring equipment.
• Monitor surveillance cameras and compile statements and reports.
• Report all crimes, incidents, and safeguarding issues.

Pay: €3700 per month.

Experience:

• 1 year in military, police, army, airport security, or customs (required).

Language:

• English (required).
