Job Overview:

As a Hotel Receptionist, you are the first point of contact for guests arriving at our resort. Your role is to provide a warm and friendly welcome, assist with check-in and check-out processes, answer guest inquiries, and ensure their stay is comfortable and enjoyable.

General Duties:

  • Warm Welcome: Provide a warm and welcoming reception to guests arriving at the resort.
  • Guest Registration: Register guests, process payments for their stay, and issue room keys.
  • Guest Assistance: Answer guest inquiries about our facilities, activities, and local attractions, providing helpful recommendations.
  • Reservation Management: Update guest reservations in the system, ensuring accuracy and compliance with guest preferences.
  • Safety and Security: Take responsibility for the safety and security of in-house guests.
  • Cash Handling: Handle the float, ensuring proper control and balancing at the end of your shift.
  • Correspondence Handling: Manage all correspondences related to reservations, accounts, and guest requests.

Skills Required:

  • Excellent Customer Care: Exceptional customer care skills to ensure a positive guest experience.
  • Language Proficiency: Excellent command of the English language, both written and oral, is essential for effective communication with guests.
  • Initiative: Ability to work independently and take initiative to address guest needs.
  • High Volume: Capacity to handle high volumes of guests efficiently and with a positive attitude.
  • Motivation and Organization: Highly motivated and organized, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
