Reporting to: Cleaning Manager

Work Schedule: Day Shift (10:00 am – 07:00 pm)

About the Position:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Cleaner to join our team at UiT in Narvik within the Department of Construction and Property. As a Cleaner, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean and orderly environment to ensure a safe and pleasant atmosphere for both staff and students.

Responsibilities:

• Daily Cleaning: Perform routine cleaning tasks to uphold cleanliness standards.
• Periodic Cleaning: Execute scheduled cleaning routines to maintain hygiene levels.
• Maintenance: Attend to surfaces and furniture upkeep for longevity.
• Window Wash: Ensure clear and spotless windows for optimal visibility.
• Main Cleaning/Round Washing: Participate in comprehensive cleaning activities.

Qualifications:

• Professional Background: Professional letters in the cleaning operator subject or relevant cleaning experience.
• Equipment Proficiency: Experience in using modern cleaning equipment.
• Language Skills: Ability to communicate effectively in English or Norwegian, both orally and in writing.

Compensation:

The position is paid according to the state’s regulatory code 1130 cleaner. A 2% mandatory deposit is deducted from the gross salary for the State pension fund.

Note:
