Butcher job in Ireland
The Role:
This is a full-time position, involving an average of 45 hours per week, scheduled over 5 days, which may include weekends and public holidays.
Main Duties:
- Assist the butchery team in the day-to-day operations of a busy department.
- Perform general counter service duties.
- Handle counter merchandising and displays.
- Provide excellent customer care to all customers.
Requirements:
- Fluent in both written and spoken English.
- A minimum of 2/3 years of experience working as a butcher in a busy setting is essential.
- Strong knowledge of fresh meat and butchery products.
- Excellent customer care skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Availability for early starts, late finishes, and weekend shifts.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
