Butcher job in Ireland

The Role:

This is a full-time position, involving an average of 45 hours per week, scheduled over 5 days, which may include weekends and public holidays.

Main Duties:

• Assist the butchery team in the day-to-day operations of a busy department.
• Perform general counter service duties.
• Handle counter merchandising and displays.
• Provide excellent customer care to all customers.

Requirements:

• Fluent in both written and spoken English.
• A minimum of 2/3 years of experience working as a butcher in a busy setting is essential.
• Strong knowledge of fresh meat and butchery products.
• Excellent customer care skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Availability for early starts, late finishes, and weekend shifts.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
